An acoustic violin is ideal for intimate, classical environments, while an electric violin is better suited for modern venues and outdoor ceremonies, where sound control and stability are essential.

What are the advantages of an electric violin?

For outdoor ceremonies, Victoria typically performs on an electric violin, which is the professional standard for open-air events.

Acoustic instruments are sensitive to weather conditions and may lose tuning. For weddings, where consistency and precision are essential, a stable sound is key.

An electric violin ensures reliable sound quality, full volume control, and confidence throughout the performance.

What will the performance sound like?

Performances are accompanied by professional instrumental backing tracks, creating a rich, layered, and emotionally engaging sound.

This is not a solo violin in silence, but a complete musical experience with carefully balanced accompaniment.
A cappella performances are available for church ceremonies.

Do you provide your own equipment?

Victoria is fully self-contained and provides professional sound equipment tailored to each event.

Depending on the setting, she uses:
— portable systems (no power required) for outdoor and intimate ceremonies
— more powerful setups for events of up to approximately 100 guests

For larger-scale events, she can integrate seamlessly with the venue or production team’s sound system.

Can we request a specific piece of music?

Victoria learns 1–2 personalised pieces for each couple, typically for key moments such as the bridal entrance.

This ensures the music feels personal and unique to your celebration.

How is the music selected?

Victoria offers a carefully curated repertoire that works beautifully for weddings.

Couples are welcome to choose their preferred pieces or leave the selection in her hands — each performance is thoughtfully designed to match the flow and atmosphere of the day.
